Despite the story saying Joja's prices are lower than Pierre's, for the player it's more expensive to buy from Joja. Except for sunflower seeds, everything else is cheaper at Pierre's, so it's not worth buying from Joja even if you have some memey hate for Pierrre or whatever. IIRC the only product Joja sells for a better price is sunflower seeds. If I remember correctly, the seeds actually cost more (sans sunflower seeds) until you buy the member ship, which makes it the same. So, Pierre's is actually better IMO. And they're evil.
